1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms“) are a binding agreement between you and JusticeXpress, Inc., a Delaware public benefit corporation qualified to do business in Florida (“JusticeXpress,” “we,” “us,” or “our“), governing your use of www.justicexpressmediation.com and the JusticeXpress Mediation Platform (together, the “Services“). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services. Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Statement.

2. What JusticeXpress Is — and Is Not

JusticeXpress provides technology: a secure portal, questionnaires, communication tools, and document assembly that a mediator and the parties can use to conduct an online divorce mediation. That is all we provide.

• We are not a law firm and not a lawyer. Nothing on the Services is legal advice, and no attorney–client relationship is formed by using them.
• We are not a mediator and we do not conduct, supervise, or participate in your mediation. The mediator you select is solely responsible for the mediation.
• We do not evaluate your situation or tell you what agreement, parenting arrangement, or division of property is right for you. Information provided through the Services is general and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney or other professional.
• We do not guarantee any outcome — including that you will reach agreement, that a document will be accepted by a court, or that your divorce will be granted.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. The Services are intended for use in connection with Florida divorce mediation and are not directed to children.

4. Free Access for Couples; Mediator Fees

When the mediator you choose uses the JusticeXpress Mediation Platform, access to the platform is free to you and the other party. There is no per-spouse fee and no hourly platform charge to couples.

Your mediator’s fee is separate from the platform. The mediator sets their own rates, and you pay the mediator directly — not through JusticeXpress. We are not responsible for, and take no part in, the fees, billing, or refund practices of any mediator. You are free to choose a mediator who does not use our platform.

5. Your Mediator and the Mediation Relationship

Mediators listed in our directory are independent professionals, not employees or agents of JusticeXpress. A directory listing is not an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of any mediator’s qualifications, availability, or results. You are responsible for selecting your own mediator and for verifying their certification and suitability for your matter.

The mediation itself — including the process used, the confidentiality of communications, and any agreement reached — is a matter between you, the other party, and your mediator, and is governed by your separate agreement to mediate with that mediator and by applicable Florida law. JusticeXpress is not a party to that relationship.

6. Your Account and Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. Because divorce mediation depends on honest disclosure, you are responsible for the accuracy of the financial and family information you provide.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Services for any unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or abusive purpose;
• submit information you do not have the right to share, or impersonate another person;
• attempt to access another user’s account or any non-public part of the Services;
• interfere with, disrupt, probe, or reverse engineer the Services or their security;
• use the Services to provide legal advice to others or to engage in the unauthorized practice of law; or
• copy, scrape, or use the directory or platform content to build a competing service or to train any artificial-intelligence model.

8. Documents and Information You Receive

The platform can assemble documents — such as a Marital Settlement Agreement or Parenting Plan — from the information you and the other party provide and at the direction of you and your mediator. These documents are generated from your own inputs; they are not legal advice, and JusticeXpress does not select, review, or certify them for your particular situation.

You are responsible for reviewing every document for accuracy and completeness, and we strongly encourage you to have your own attorney review any agreement before you sign or file it. Court requirements vary and change; JusticeXpress does not warrant that any document will meet the requirements of any court or be accepted for filing.

9. Confidentiality

Communications within your mediation are intended to be confidential as provided in your agreement to mediate and under applicable Florida law governing mediation. These Terms are not legal advice about mediation privilege. How confidentiality and privilege apply to your matter is a question for your mediator and, if needed, your attorney.

10. Intellectual Property and License

The Services, including their software, design, text, and logos, are owned by JusticeXpress or its licensors and are protected by law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your own divorce mediation. You retain ownership of the information and documents you provide. You grant us the limited right to host and process that information solely to operate the Services and, for mediation information, to do so on your mediator’s behalf. We do not use your information to train artificial-intelligence models.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, and share information, including the roles JusticeXpress and your mediator play with respect to your information. By using the Services, you acknowledge that Statement.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may rely on or link to third-party tools and websites — for example, video-conferencing providers and mediators’ own sites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms and policies.

13. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any document, information, or mediation will produce a particular legal result. No advice or information obtained from the Services creates any warranty not expressly stated here.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JusticeXpress and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services or any mediation, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Because the platform is provided to couples free of charge, some jurisdictions’ limits on liability for paid services may not apply. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JusticeXpress and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or the rights of another, or the accuracy of the information you provide.

16. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if we discontinue the Services, or as needed to protect the Services or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at support@justicexpress.com so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that is not resolved will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to venue there. This section does not affect any confidentiality or privilege that applies to your mediation.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when. Material changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
